Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 23, 2026

1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Canada Driving Test (the “App”) handles information when you use our mobile application and website. By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described below.

2. Information we handle

The App does not require an account and does not ask for your name, address, contacts or precise location. Study preferences, exam history and progress may be stored locally on your device.

Our service providers may automatically receive limited technical information, such as device identifiers, device type, operating system, app interactions, diagnostics, crash data, advertising information and general region inferred from network information.

3. How information is used

  • Provide and maintain app functionality.
  • Remember your settings and learning progress.
  • Measure performance, diagnose errors and improve the experience.
  • Display, measure and prevent fraud involving advertisements.
  • Process and restore an optional in-app purchase that removes ads.

4. Third-party services

The App may use Google AdMob for advertising, Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for usage measurement and diagnostics, RevenueCat for purchase management, and the Apple App Store or Google Play for payment processing. These providers process information under their own privacy policies.

  • Google Privacy Policy
  • RevenueCat Privacy Policy
  • Apple Privacy Policy

5. Advertising and consent

The free version may show ads. Where required by law, the App or its advertising provider will request consent before using information for personalized advertising. You may be able to change consent choices through the App, device settings or the consent message presented to you. Purchasing the remove-ads option stops ads in the App but does not automatically delete previously collected diagnostic or transaction records.

6. Data retention and security

Local study data remains on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall it. Third-party providers retain information according to their policies and legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure.

7. Children's privacy

The App is a general-audience educational tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the matter.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, or to withdraw consent. Because we do not operate user accounts, we may need transaction or device-related information to identify records held by a provider. You can also reset the advertising identifier, limit tracking or delete local data through your device settings.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App, legal requirements or service providers change. The revised date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
